Overview:

  •  Our interactive panel will explore the topic of bias and conflict, particularly bias that exists between women and how these dynamics harm opportunities for both women entering and promoting within the industry.
  • Our goal is to raise awareness about the subtle yet significant impact of unconscious bias on women in construction. By understanding these biases and learning how to address them, we can create a more equitable and supportive industry for all. Thank you for joining us in this important discussion.

 Our Panel Will Cover:

    • Definition and examples of unconscious bias.
    • Discussion on how bias between women create additional barriers for women working in (and entering) the industry.  
    • Explore real-life stories and examples highlighting these challenges.

Resources and Tools:

    • Practical resources to help identify and overcome unconscious bias.
    • Tips and techniques for fostering a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
